Just three weeks after the demolition of the Fort Ruger Theatre, Diamond Head Theatre blessed its brand new one on December 5 in an intimate ceremony with its board of directors and staff. During the event officiated by Kahu Kordell Kekoa, attendees participated as ceremonial rain water and hands blessed the building's new spaces in the 17,000 square foot theatre. In addition, a series of sneak peek previews were held for some of our closest champions for this $23 million project.

On January 20, the nation’s third oldest theatre is on track to open Cinderella in January with a show extension announced. Tickets for Cinderella are now on sale.
