Shane Gillia

Shane started dancing at the age of 21 for Hypersquad Dance Company. He’s also trained at 24-7 Dance Force and Studio 808 DanceProject. Shane has been teaching at Studio 808 DanceProject since 2004. He’s taught dancers as young as 7 years old all the way up adults. For a brief couple years during his time with Studio 808,  Shane was given the opportunity to step up to act as the interim company director. Also, during his many years with Studio 808 DP, he’s been able to put together many award-winning pieces both locally and nationally. Aside from the dance community, Shane is also very involved in Hawai'i's drag/gay community. He’s danced and choreographed for many performers for numerous shows, events, and pageants.

Anna Motteler is a graduate of the Alabama School of Fine Arts and performed with the State of Alabama Ballet.  DHT credits include Crazy For You, The Will Rogers Follies, Oliver!, 42nd St., Phantom, and most recently Camelot.  She currently teaches and choreographs at Queen Emma Ballet.

Julia Hamilton Ogilvie is a teacher and actor originally from Hawaii and back here from New York. She has taught acting for Yale University, Rutgers University, American Conservatory Teahtre's Graduate Acting Program, University of Hawai'i and The Juilliard Drama Outreach Program at Snow College. She enjoys teaching and coaching actors of all ages from around the country as well as internationally.

Julia's acting work includes: Timon of Athens(Off-Broadway at Theatre For A New Audience & The Shakespeare Theatre Co. in D.C.), That Beautiful Laugh (Off-Broadway at La MaMa), A Midsummer Night's Dream (The Shakespeare Theater Co. in D.C. and The Macau Arts Festival in China). And she can be seen in the new show Doogie Kamealoa M.D. on Disney+ and in the upcoming season of Magnum P.I. on CBS. 

Julia is a Presidential Scholar in The Arts award recipient, and trained at the Maggie Flanigan Studio in New York, as well as The Juilliard School.

Nanilisa Pascua received her Bachelor’s degree in Music from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.  Nanilisa is a music educator in the public school system and teaches private voice and is a vocal coach.  Nanilisa has also been musical director for the DHT Shooting Stars since its inception.

John Rampage is well known to Honolulu audiences and has directed and/or choreographed countless award-winning shows all around Oahu. In addition, he teaches dance at Queen Emma Dance, Inc. and DHT.

Shannon Winpenny has studied at several prestigious acting schools in Chicago including The Second City. She has been writing, directing and performing in Chicago and Honolulu for over 15 years. In 2007, she opened Laughtrack Theater Co.

Classes: Acting for Adults, Acting for Children, Acting for High Schoolers

Sarah Yani  has been dancing her whole life: specializing mainly in hip-hop, hula, and Tahitian dance. She has trained at 24-7 Danceforce in Kaneohe, as well as on her college dance team and company at the University of Southern California. Sarah has taught at Diamond Head Theatre for many years and enjoys helping her students find joy and fun through dance.

Classes: Street Funk Ages 6-11

Caryn Yee has done tap choreography and performed in multiple shows at Diamond Head Theatre. Caryn also teaches & choreographs for the Punahou Tap Company. She received her training at Punahou Dance School, Dupree Academy, and The Edge in Los Angeles.

Classes: Intermediate Tap, Advanced Tap


Alexandria Zinov is from Salt Lake City Utah where she graduated from Utah Valley University with a bachelors in Dance Education. She has taught and choreographed at many schools and studios around Utah and now Hawaii. Alex was last seen on the stage here in Hawaii as Kristine in A Chorus Line at Diamond Head Theatre. She was also seen as Janet in the Rocky Horror Show (MVT) Where she was awarded Best Actress in Hawaii 2019 from Broadway world nominations. Alexandria Was a professional dancer in the NBA for the Utah Jazz for 4 years and was captain of the team her last year. She is so grateful for all that performing has given her and is hoping she can continue to inspire others to always reach for your dreams!
