Michael Bingham is a NYC based professional actor who has performed across the country in national tours, regional theater, variety shows and more. A former Mid-Pac student and shooting star, Michael is delighted to be teaching back in his hometown. His credits include: National Tour: Bandstand (Swing) Regional: Mary Poppins (Bert), 42nd Street, Crazy For YouLittle Mermaid (Ursula), Camelot (Helen Hayes - Best Musical),  West Side Story, and others. BFA: Elon University.

Classes: Musical Theatre Jazz Ages 13-18

Ixchel Lopez

Classes: Street Funk Ages 7-12

Anna Motteler is a graduate of the Alabama School of Fine Arts and performed with the State of Alabama Ballet.  DHT credits include Crazy For You, The Will Rogers Follies, Oliver!, 42nd St., Phantom, and most recently Camelot.  She currently teaches and choreographs at Queen Emma Ballet. 

Classes: Daytime Broadway Dance, Daytime Tap, Daytime Ballet & Stretch, Tap for Musical Theatre Levels 1 & 2

Nanilisa Pascua received her Bachelor’s degree in Music from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.  Nanilisa is a music educator in the public school system and teaches private voice and is a vocal coach.  Nanilisa has also been musical director for the DHT Shooting Stars since its inception.

Classes: Broadway Vocal

John Rampage is well known to Honolulu audiences and has directed and/or choreographed countless award-winning shows all around Oahu. In addition, he teaches dance at Queen Emma Dance, Inc. and DHT. 

Classes: Broadway Jazz, Silver Stars

Dwayne Sakaguchi is a veteran to local stages here in Hawaii and was a former DHT Shooting Star. He has won a Po’okela Award for his performance in Newsies at DHT in 2018. He has taught at Applause Performance Academy, Punahou Dance School and has choreographed main stage productions at KHSPAC and CPAC. He is excited to be a part of the DHT dance education team!

Kayla Uchida

Classes: Beginner Ballet & Tap, Musical Theatre Jazz Ages 7-12

Shannon Winpenny has studied at several prestigious acting schools in Chicago including The Second City. She has been writing, directing and performing in Chicago and Honolulu for over 15 years. In 2007, she opened Laughtrack Theater Co.

Classes: Acting for Adults, Acting for Children, Acting for High Schoolers

Caryn Yee has done tap choreography and performed in multiple shows at Diamond Head Theatre. Caryn also teaches & choreographs for the Punahou Tap Company. She received her training at Punahou Dance School, Dupree Academy, and The Edge in Los Angeles.
