Grease, created by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey, debuted on Broadway in 1972, quickly becoming a Tony-nominated sensation. The film adaptation, released in 1978, electrified audiences with its unforgettable mix of 1950s nostalgia, catchy tunes and teenage romance. Grease is recommended for audiences ages 12 and older due to mature themes, moderate coarse language, and simulated smoking.
