The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940

February 2 to February 24, 2024

A fast-paced, funny farce that takes place in an isolated mansion in the middle of a snowstorm, and pokes fun at the more ridiculous aspects of “show biz” as well as the corny thrillers of Hollywood’s heyday. The plot centers around a backers’ audition for a Broadway musical that’s being held at an upstate New York home. A group of performers and producers find themselves cut off from the outside world with only a deranged murderer (the Stage Door Slasher) for company! Complete with secret passages and a bizarre cast of characters, this brilliantly plotted play has become a modern comedy classic. Watch the video.
