DIAMOND HEAD THEATRE AUDITIONS
FOR "LEND ME A TENOR"
Honolulu, HI, November
21, 2006—Diamond Head Theatre (DHT) is holding auditions
for LEND ME A TENOR. Auditions will be held on Friday, December
15, 2006, 2007 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, December 17, 2006 at 2 p.m.
Auditions are in the DHT Rehearsal Hall at 520 Makapuu Avenue.
Auditioners should be familiar with the play; auditions will consist
of readings from the play. Perusal scripts available at the DHT
Box Office (Monday - Friday, 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.); material is
copy written and must be read on-site.

Guest directed by Rob Duval, LEND ME A TENOR will run from February
2 - 18, 2007.
Written by Ken Ludwig, LEND ME A TENOR is a wild romp of mistaken
identities and disguises, just-missed entrances and exits and scheming
behind the scenes in every corner.
The Cleveland Grand Opera Company is thrilled that world famous
tenor Tito Merelli has come from Italy to perform at their most
important fundraiser of the season. The company's general manager
hopes that this will put Cleveland on the operatic map, but luck
is not on their side. Tito is presumed dead after passing out due
to a series of mishaps. When a "Dear John" letter is mistaken
for Tito's suicide note, the company stands to lose thousands in
ticket sales unless they can find a way for the "dead"
singer to deliver the performance of his life!
